CEO’S MESSAGE
NETWORK of Community Ministries, a/k/a NETWORK, has undergone an extraordinary transformation that has brought with it unique challenges and new victories.
Helping others overcome temporary obstacles remains our primary commitment as we make a comprehensive transition to a new organizational model and a new brand identity.
Since 1985, our determination to “make a difference” in the lives of individuals and families has been a constant, as we steadily improve in program services, thanks to thousands across Dallas County.
In 2006, the board adopted a transformational Five Year Strategic Plan. The board was very clear. NETWORK was to continue with the original mission, while at the same time, becoming proactive rather reactive.
In 2007, we launched “offering a new day, a new way,” and the results have been phenomenal! NETWORK undoubtedly has begun its new direction.
Priority One: We remain committed to providing holistic client services. Our goal is the infusion of a case management component to aid greater self-sufficiency in the lives of individuals and families.
Priority Two: We will seek both private and public partnerships because we truly want to involve all in support of our future.
Priority Three: We must build the infrastructure to handle growth; that growth will mandate a new physical location.
Our compelling mission, community-based approach to service delivery, defined geographic area, solid policies, strong supporters, and an exemplary team of volunteers guarantee our new direction.
2008-2010’s activities are well underway. As CEO, I want to share that we look ahead with tremendous excitement. Join me in the new Vision: it belongs to you.
Warmly,
Alice Mae Britt, CEO
NETWORK, Inc.
